He’s wearing well! Rod Stewart announces arena show in Leeds

Music superstar Rod Stewart is heading back to Leeds’s First Direct Arena, it was revealed today.

Rod will be playing the city’s flagship venue on Tuesday, December 6, as part of his From Gasoline Alley To Another Country Hits 2016 tour.

He previously appeared at the arena in 2013 and rocked Leeds United’s Elland Road ground in 2011.

Rod’s tour also takes in dates at Liverpool’s Echo Arena, London’s O2, Sheffield Arena, Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena, Manchester Arena and Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.

Looking ahead to the shows, the Maggie May legend said: “What a great line-up of venues.

“These are some of my favourite buildings in my favourite cities.

“I give you fair warning – fasten your seat belts, I’m pulling out all the stops.”

Tickets for the Leeds concert go on sale at 9am this Friday.
