Good Guys Orchestra set to swing into Leeds

The ‘Good Guys’ of music will have some of their post popular pieces performed in Leeds in April.

Songs written by Cole Porter, George Gershwin and Duke Ellington will be played by The Good Guys Orchestra at City Varieties on Saturday April 12.

Vocalist Guy Garrett will be joined by Leeds’ own Cherie Gears and the ten-piece orchestra to perform classics like Every Time We Say Goodbye, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Someone To Watch Over Me and Night And Day.

The event, titled The Good Guys Orchestra: In a Seminal Mood, swings into action at 7.30pm and tickets cost £17.50. To book tickets to see the orchestra, who are known for performing favourites from across the decades, visit cityvarieties.co.uk or call box office on 0113 243 0808.
