Yesterday, Leeds Triathlon organisers British Triathlon opened applications for volunteers to fill 500 ‘Tri Maker’ vacancies to help with marshalling, registration, transition and elite athlete support.

The event will take place in the Roundhay Park area and amateur athletes will get the chance of a lifetime to race on many of the same streets as local heroes Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee, who will compete just a few hours later on June 11.
