The band today announced a huge outdoor show on August 29 at Leeds's Harewood House - home to the Earl of Harewood, the Queen's cousin.
The one-off gig has been arranged after their UK arena tour in May sold out in double quick time.
Promoter Andrew Wyke said: "It's fantastic that Girls Aloud will be performing at Harewood.
"It gives fans who can't get to the arena shows the perfect opportunity to see them live in concert."
The date will mark a homecoming of sorts for one of the five-piece group - Kimberley Walsh hails from Bradford and is a former student at Leeds Trinity & All Saints.
She and her bandmates shot to fame in 2002 on the back of TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals.
Since then they have clocked up a record-breaking 17 consecutive top 10 singles with tracks such as Sound of the Underground, No Good Advice and Love Machine.
Tickets go on sale for their Leeds gig at 9am on Monday from www.maconcerts.co.uk or 0871 271 6149.
