Girl taken to hospital after Leeds road accident

A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital today after being hit by a car in Leeds.

The accident happened at about 11.25am on the A64 York Road, close to the Torre Road turn-off.

Police said the 15-year-old girl’s injuries were not thought to be serious.

The teenager, who had been struck by a black Toyota Avensis car, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
