The UK’s largest gin and vodka festival comes to Leeds this weekend and a special Trinity tipple has been created especially for the occasion.
A limited edition, 200-bottle run of ‘Ginity Leeds’, which was blended using ingredients voted for by social media users in the city, will be launched at the festival which takes over Trinity Kitchen.
It will also be on sale at wine and spirit specialist, Latitude in the city centre, with all proceeds being donated to charity via the Trinity Leeds’ fund.
Apple, cinnamon, pear and star anise were flavours picked to best represent the Trinity and they were blended with a gin recipe by city based artisan gin producer, Sara Birkinshaw.
The Gin and Vodka Festival also has 80 other gins and 40 vodkas at the sold-out event.
Dan Wharton, Marketing Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “The Gin & Vodka festival is a firm favourite in the city’s social calendar and to celebrate hosting it for the first time this year, we wanted to do something to add our own flavour.
“We hope ‘Ginity Leeds’ will go down well and help us raise funds which we’ll distribute to charities at the end of the year.”
