A day dedicated to gin has the makings of a good event so get set for a gin-tastic Saturday in Leeds.
Harvey Nichols will have you spoilt for choice as it has over 20 brands stocked at the fourth floor food hall from Yorkshire neighbours Masons of Harrogate to French and Swedish distillers.
The Place, one of the newest bars on Whitehall Road, is celebrating its first World Gin day with over 30 types and some ‘gin-uine’ offers on drinks. Revolution bar is launching ‘The Joy of Gin’ summer menu on Saturday where bar teams will be muddling gin with a range of fruit purées, juices and liqueurs as well as serving a bespoke Gin Box with all the ingredients you will need to create your own cocktail.
Meanwhile, Crafthouse, in the Trinity, has collaborated with Fever Tree tonic to transform the restaurant’s rooftop terrace into a G&T garden which launches tomorrow and is open through June and July. Mark Morrison, general manager, said: “The gin bar with its incredible views over Leeds skyline is set to be the new favourite city centre spot to spend a hot summer’s evening.”
