Love is in the air at Lotherton Hall – and not just on Valentine’s Day but all week long.

The stunning Edwardian country home is hosting a host of special bird-themed family-friendly activities and crafts from Valentine’s Day until Sunday, February 22.

Love Birds Week will celebrate some of the 200 species of feathered friends residing at the Aberford attraction. Lotherton boasts one of the most famous and comprehensive collections of rare and endangered birds in England, from flamingos and snowy owls to cassowaries, hornbills and the magnificent Andean Condors.

There are also nature trails and play areas. Call 0113 378 2959 or email lotherton.hall@leeds.gov.uk for more details.
