Early bird campers at Leeds Festival faced muddy conditions when they arrived at the site today.

A thunderstorm brought torrential rain to Bramham Park this morning, meaning revellers arriving at the campsites had to wade through deep mud.

While those arriving by train at Leeds Station got a soaking as they headed to catch the festival shuttle bus.

Campsites have now opened and the festival begins tomorrow.
