A team of 34 office workers completed a tough assault course – and raised £3,700 for a cancer charity in the process.

Workers from safety-barrier specialists A-Safe braved 11 miles of mud and moorland – and 26 fiendish obstacles – to complete the gruelling Tough Mudder course in aid of Harrogate-based Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Michelle Foulks, fundraising officer at the charity, said: “A huge congratulations and thank you to the whole A-SAFE team.

“The money raised will go towards funding vital research projects to help people in Yorkshire avoid, survive and cope with cancer.”
