A fleet of colourful dragons took to the water this weekend as an award winning festival returned to Leeds.

The sixth annual Leeds Waterfront Festival has seen family-friends events take place all along the waterfront throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Highlights have included the dragon boat race on Saturday, which saw crowds gather to cheer on teams from local firms who were racing in their colourful rowboats.

Children’s games, live music and craft stalls completed the line-up.

The popular festival won the Waterways Renaissance Award last year.
