Have your say

Budding male songbirds could be given the chance to explore their talents this summer.

The free Find Your Voice workshops, being run by Leeds Male Voice Choir, will introduce men to vocal techniques including pitch, tone, breathing and posture.

Rob Butler, a spokesman for the sessions, said: “I attended the workshops a couple years ago and haven’t looked back. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I got a warm welcome and soon realised it was fantastic to be surrounded by guys who enjoy singing together.

The sessions are open to those of all abilities. They will run on consecutive Thursday from July 24 to August 7 at Yorkshire College of Music and Drama in Woodhouse.
