Beer lovers flocked to north Leeds to sup a variety of pints from breweries across the country - and raise money for charity.

Now in its fourth year, the much-anticipated North Leeds Charity Beer Festival opened its doors on Friday and ran throughout the weekend at its new home of North Leeds Cricket Club, at Old Park Road.

British Guild of Beer writer Sam Parker, who organised the festival in conjunction with the Roundhay Rotary Club, said: “It is great to see good beer drank for good causes.”

This year there were 18 beers from around London going head to head with 18 Leeds beers. The festival raised money for Rotary charities and the cricket club.
