flower and people power will help bring in the pounds for a charity’s annual fundraising event.
The annual Great Daffodil Appeal, being run by Marie Curie Cancer Care, is calling on people in Leeds to donate an hour of their time to collect cash for the campaign.
The charity fundraiser encourages people to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin in March.
But volunteers are needed to support its Leeds Street Collection on March 1 in the city centre. The money raised from the collection will help Marie Curie nurses provide more free care to Leeds residents with terminal illnesses in their own homes.
To volunteer visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil or call Hannah Saxon on 01274 386190.
