LEEDS North West MP Greg Mulholland road tested an ‘alternative’ three peaks challenge ahead of a mass challenge to raise money for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA).

The 22 mile Wharfedale Three Peaks takes in three summits and a great total ascent than climbing Ben Nevis, and was devised by UWFRA for a fundraising event in June.

Mr Mulholland, who is pictured with Carey Davies from the British Mountaineering Council, John Rocks from Carnegie Great Outdoors, and Joe Parsons from UWFRA, said the route was “challenging but very satisfying.”
