Fire breaks out at Leeds home in early hours

Firefighters tackled a blaze which broke out in a Leeds home in the early hours this morning.

West Yorkshire Fire Service was called to the house in Pollard Lane, Bramley, shortly before 2am.

Crews from Stanningley and Leeds worked together to bring the fire under control.

They used three large jets, two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.

There were no reported injuries.

Members of the public are being warned about about rogue websites advertising fake premium rate numbers for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals' cruelty line.
