Firefighters were responded to reports of a fire at Wetherby Racecourse this morning.

Crews from Wetherby and Tadcaster attended the incident, shortly after midnight.

A fire service spokesman said a stable block at the race course was found to be on fire. It is understood no people or animals were injured in the fire and the cause is under investigation.
