Video: Leeds pupils look to the future with time capsule

Have your say

Pupils sent messages to their future selves to celebrate the official opening of their new school building.

Youngsters at Carr Manor Community School in Meanwood – one of the city’s first ‘through’ schools – buried a time capsule with their messages inside. They will add more messages in 2019 when they move up into the secondary phase, then the capsule will be re-buried until they are ready to leave school in 2024.
