University of Leeds in top ten for student experience

The University of Leeds has ranked ninth in the country for student experience in a new survey.

The university held on to its top ten spot in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey for the second year running. It also ranked third for cheapest amenities in the survey, based on responses from almost 14,700 undergraduate students.

Students across the UK rated their universities in 21 categories, including the quality of the staff, lectures, and social life.

The University of Bath was voted to offer the best student experience in the country, followed by Loughborough University, which jumped to second place from eleventh last year.

Professor Vivien Jones of the University of Leeds said the city was “a fantastic place to live and study”.
