Young students from Leeds have ‘coloured their summer’ with a temporary art installation on display in the arrivals hall at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Pupils from Bramham Shadwell Federation School spent yesterday morning colouring a giant Barcelona landscape as part of Monarch’s summer campaign.

The colourful scene will remain on the wall in the arrivals area for the coming weeks.

Headteacher Sarah Richards said: “Our children have been able to learn about the airport and spend time here seeing a very different side to it. We have a very talented group of children here and they have loved every minute of being involved in this way.”

Mass communication graduates were likely to earn an average of just 22,300.
