A LEEDS school has been praised as being good in all inspection areas in its latest Ofsted report.

Hawksworth Wood Primary School, in Cragside Walk, is rated as good overall by the education watchdog.

The school’s teaching and learning, leadership and management, results, early years provision and the personal development, behaviour and welfare of pupils are also all rated as good. The report singled out the school’s approach for pupils from disadvantaged background and also those who have special educational needs. It said: “Leaders track the progress of individual pupils carefully and provide support for those who need it.

“As a result, pupils who are disadvantaged or have special educational needs or disabilities make good progress.”
