East Leeds: Signs are good for beer bash

Cheers! It’s nearly time to raise a toast to the fourth Garforth Beer Festival.

The event is taking place this Saturday, August 15, running from 11am to 11pm at Garforth Miners’ Welfare Hall.

Presented by Garforth and District Lions Club, it will feature a wide selection of beers, bottled ciders and other drinks.

Food will also be available while a packed line-up of entertainment will include a charity prize raffle.

Tickets cost £5, which includes a souvenir glass, programme and free first half-pint.
