OLYMPIC cycling medal winner Katy Marchant is set to add some sporting stardust to the launch of a new women-only gym.

Katy will be a special guest when Gymophobics officially opens its doors on Main Street in Garforth next Monday, March 20.

The gym will offer 30-minute resisted tension circuit workouts to help inch and weight loss. Free dietary advice will also be available.

Gymophobics has around 40 centres nationwide but the Garforth facility will be its first franchise in Leeds.

The gym is being set up by Adele Ewen, who has previously worked as a fitness instructor for Gymophobics.

Looking ahead to next week’s opening, Adele told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “It’s an exciting time and we’re hoping to get a lot of support from the local community.”
