RESIDENTS in Barwick in Elmet will be proudly throwing open their gardens to members of the public this Sunday.

A total of 12 gardens in the village will be on show to visitors from 1pm to 5pm.

Programmes giving entrance to the gardens will be available for purchase for £3 from a free car park off Main Street.

Refreshments and plants will be on sale at the village hall. Funds raised by the event will go to Barwick in Bloom.
