Early morning fire at car workshop in Leeds

Five fire crews tackled a blaze at a car spares and repair shop in Leeds earlier this morning.

The call came at around 4.45am to Motosave on Stanningley Road.

Crews made up of five fire engines and an aerial ladder platform from Stanningley, Leeds, Bradford, Hunslet and Fairweather Green attended the fire.

Four fire-fighters donned breathing apparatus and two large jets were also used to put out the fire.

At least two cars within the building were also involved.
