The mum of a little Leeds United fan has urged the city to help track down a signed matchday programme from last Saturday's win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Michelle Smith's little boy got his match programme signed by his hero striker Chris Wood after the 1-0 win over bitter Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

But tragedy struck when the programme was accidentally left in the back of a taxi.

Now the mum is urging the city to help her track down the missing programme.

She said: "My little boy got his programme signed by man of match at Leeds United today, Chris Wood.

"Unfortunately he left it in a Central Cars taxi on the way home tonight at about 5pm.

"He is absolutely gutted please if you got in this taxi and found it then have a heart and get in touch xx — feeling hopeful."
