Delays in Leeds after man seen on wrong side of motorway bridge

Police were called to a bridge over the M621 tonight after members of the public spotted a man in distress.

The man was seen on the wrong side of the railings on the Dewsbury Road flyover and appeared agitated.

Officers attended the scene at 5.35pm and the man came down voluntarily at 5.53pm. He was detained by police.

There were delays to bus services and traffic during the incident.
