Cyclist in critical condition after collision with car in Leeds

A cyclist is in critical condition after being involved in a collision with a car in Leeds today (Tuesday).

The crash in Armley happened at 7.50am this morning on Hall Lane and involved a Vauxhall Corsa.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Both vehicles were travelling in the same direction when the collision happened.

"The cyclist - a man in his 50s - was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious head injuries where he is in a critical condition."

Anyone who saw the collision is asked to contact PC Adrian Brown via 101.
