Woman suffers serious injuries after cycling accident near Ilkley
There are long delays on the A65 near Ilkley after a female cyclist was involved in an accident earlier today.
She suffered serious head injuries after falling from her bike on Ilkley Road in Burley-in-Wharfedale at around 1.15pm.
Police have closed the road and traffic has been diverted. Buses are not calling at stops in the village.
No other vehicles were involved.
She was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
