Woman attacked by robber after she got off bus in Leeds

A woman was dragged to the floor and robbed after getting off a bus.

The 35-year-old was on Layton Road in Horsforth when a man walked towards her and grabbed her before pulling her to the ground and stealing her mobile phone.

She suffered cuts and bruises in the incident, which happened at 3pm on Wednesday.

The robber was white, in his twenties, skinny and had a gaunt, spotty face. He was wearing a royal blue baseball cap.

Anyone who saw the incident or recognises the description should contact Det Con Andy McCombe at Weetwood Police Station via 101.
