VIDEO: Who has been issued with the gang injunction?

Seven men have been made subject to the city’s first gang injunction.

It bans them from certain parts of Beeston, restricts who they can associate with, and requires them to register their home address and personal mobile phone numbers with police.

Kamran Khan, 24, of Park View, Beeston, is one of seven men named in the gang injunction.

Other conditions mean they cannot carry flammable liquid and they can only drive vehicles registered and insured in their own names.

The order also bans them from using threatening or violent behaviour and wilfully remaining in the company of people engaging in such behaviour.

Those bound by the order include Shafaqat Ali, 34, of Cross Flatts Avenue, Beeston; Haroon Butt, 28, of Cross Flatts Row, Beeston; Kamran Khan, 24, of Park View, Beeston, and Zubair Ali, 25, of Cross Flatts Avenue, Beeston.

The YEP cannot identify two of the men for legal reasons as they are involved in ongoing court cases and a third man is yet to be served with the full injunction.
