Update: Two arrested over firearm being discharged in Leeds town are given bail

Detectives have released two men on bail as they continue to investigate reports of a firearm being discharged in a Leeds town.

It follows reports of a firearm being discharged on Wesley Square in Pudsey on Friday night.

The two men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested nearby.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police today said enquiries were ongoing and the men have been granted bail.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101, quoting 1892 of the 8/7.
