The four armed robbers jailed at Leeds Crown Court today targeted family homes, sports clubs and pubs in affluent parts of Leeds.
They invaded properties in suburbs such as Alwoodley, West Park, Collingham and Horsforth, ram-raided the pro shop at Temple Newsam Golf Club and locked staff at a rugby club in a cellar.
The group threatened victims with a handgun and baseball bats at popular Chapel Allerton pub the Mustard Pot, and wielded a claw hammer at the Tesco petrol station in Seacroft.
The shocking crime spree took place over four months in the autumn and winter of 2015-16, with the first offence reported on November 1, and ended with a raid on a home in West Park on Valentine's Day last year.
Details of the horrific robberies have been released which reveal families were left in terror after being confronted by the men. One mother had a knife held to her throat while her husband was told he would be shot in the head during the Collingham break-in.
