A masked robber armed with a gun raided a betting shop in Leeds.

The man, wearing a ski mask and brandishing a handgun, threatened staff at William hill on Lower Town Street in Bramley at 8.45pm yesterday before he and an accomplice escaped with cash.

He was white, about 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build and was wearing a black puffer jacket, black gloves, a black fabric ski mask covering his mouth and nose.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
