Police still investigating four month old attack

Police in Calderdale are still on the search for information relating to a “vicious” assault which took place in June.

They have issued a description and a CCTV appeal as they continue to investigate the incident which left a 26 year-old man with serious facial injuries, including the loss of two teeth. 

The incident happened on June 12 around 12:30am at a commercial premises on Wharf Street in Sowerby Bridge. 

The victim was assaulted by the suspect described as a white male, muscular build, wearing a retro England t-shirt.  

Det Insp Craig Lord, said: “This was a vicious assault and the victim was left shaken and with some serious injuries. 

“We hope anyone who was in the area on this night will recognise the person and come forward with information which will assist with our enquiries.”
