Police have released pictures of two men who were photographed on a stolen mobile phone.

The iPhone was taken from a 23-year-old woman’s handbag in a bar in Call Lane at about 1am on Saturday, March 8.

PC Jonathan Broomhead, who is investigating, said: “We have been able to download two images that were taken on the victim’s phone after it was stolen.

“We have been able to achieve this through the i-cloud capability and I am keen to identify the people shown in these shots as they may be able to assist the investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the pair is asked to contact PC Broomhead at the City Neighourhood Policing Team based at Millgarth Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
