Police have released an e-fit of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with a sneak-in style burglary in Wakefield.
At around 4pm on April 13, three men approached the home of a 52-year-old woman on Walton Lane, offering to undertake repairs.
One of the men started to speak to the resident while the other two entered the back of the property.
PC Sue Marshall, of Wakefield CID, is investigating the incident.
She said: “While one of the men spoke to the victim, the other two men entered the dining room via an insecure door and stole a mobile phone.
“They all subsequently made off on foot.
“I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the individual in the e-fit or remembers seeing these men in the area at the time.
“Likewise, I would like to hear from anyone else locally who has been approached in this manner.”
Anyone with information should call the non-emergency police number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
