Police appeal after elderly woman injured in three-car crash in north Leeds

An 86-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital with injuries following a crash in Meanwood.

The Skoda Fabia she was driving collided with a parked Volkswagen Golf in Garth Road, Meanwood, yesterday at around 1.20pm, before hitting a Toyota Prius which had been heading towards Stonegate Road.

The elderly woman was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment and remains under observation.

West Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
