A woman was threatened with a screwdriver by masked men in a terrifying robbery in her Leeds home.

The 27-year-old victim was confronted by three men at her home in Chatsworth Crescent, Pudsey, shortly after 8pm on Wednesday, January 28.

They threatened her with a screwdriver before she handed over Asian jewellery and cash.

Det Con Fred Winster, of Leeds CID, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim to be confronted in her own home by three masked men.

“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the offence or anyone who has been offered these distinctive items of jewellery for sale.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det Con Winster at Elland Road via 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
