A man dressed in a suit, shirt and tie robbed a bookmakers in Leeds.
The smartly dressed thief walked into William Hill on Kirkstall Road in Kirkstall at about 6pm.
He passed a note to one of the betting shop’s counter staff claiming he had a weapon under a coat that he had draped over his arm and demanding money before escaping with several hundred pounds in cash.
West Yorkshire Police despatched the force helicopter as officers carried out a search for the man, thought to be in his 40s and with black, spiked hair, but he was still at large last night. Anyone with information should call CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
