A man has been arrested over the rape of a woman in Leeds city centre.

The 27-year-old handed himself in at a Leeds police station yesterday after a public appeal.

It comes after a 30-year-old woman was attacked in the Crown Street car park behind the Corn Exchange in the early hours of Saturday, September 6.

A 20-year-old man arrested previously has been released without charge.
