A robber dropped his victim’s phone on the ground – after she chased him to ask for it back.

The 24-year-old woman was in Woodhouse Lane in the city centre, close to the multi-storey car park, when two men approached her and one grabbed her phone.

Police said the victim went after him and asked him to give it back. He put the phone on the ground before running off.

A CCTV image of the pair – taken in a nearby subway – has been issued following the incident at about 9.15pm on Wednesday, October 14.

Anyone who recognises them should call Det Con Dan Kirby at Weetwood Police Station via 101.
