Dead body discovered on land in Leeds, police confirm


The body of a 33-year-old man has been discovered in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police has confirmed that officers were called to land off Selby Road, in Halton, where the body was found on Sunday (May 22) just before 5.30pm.

A spokesman for the force has said that the death “is not being treated as suspicious” and the coroner’s office has been informed.

Detectives have released CCTV images captured during an armed robbery at The Three Hulats in Chapel Allerton.
