IT’S the weekend and that means it’s time to let your hair down.
And there’s one Leeds bar that’s leading the way with the perfect Jamaican-inspired party tomorrow.
Jamaica Rum Tings will bring some carnival culture to Belgrave Music Hall at Cross Belgrave Street on Saturday, August 22.
The event is a celebration of all things Jamaican, and is jam-packed with games, competitions, live music, DJ sets and, of course, some fantastic Jamaican-inspired food.
Partygoers can also enjoy reggae sets from Toddla T and Daddy G from Massive Attack and music from Leeds’ own Reggae Roots and Bass.
There will also be a record shop, live graffiti wall with graffiti artists, barbecue, drinks and rum-based fun and games from drinks brand Wray & Nephew.
Tickets cost around £5 for the event, which runs from 12pm to 2am.
The gig is due to start at around 7pm.
