EVER fancied a fancy lunch but can’t be bothered to leave your desk?

Well, lazy lunchers, your prayers have been finally answered.

A new upmarket online food delivery service has been launched in Leeds, with many of the city’s most popular eateries signing up.

Deliveroo already operates in London, Manchester and Birmingham but have recently come to Leeds.

Several popular restaurants have already jumped on board, including Gaucho, Bundobust, MeatLiquor, The Humpit, Primo’s, My Thai, Black Swan, Cattle Grid, Chino Latino and Red’s True BBQ (to name just a few).

In fact, there are 21 restaurants in Leeds who have been selected for the site, which is a number we imagine will rapidly grow.

Deliveroo charges a small, additional fee of £2.50 for delivery – which generally takes less than an hour – and brings your favourite foodie treats right to your desk (or front door if you’re ordering from home).

So why not wave goodbye to those soggy sandwiches and treat yourself to a nice slap-up meal? It’s almost the weekend, after all!
