Police want to speak to this woman after an unattended bag of gifts was stolen at Leeds railway station.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman from Pontefract, had been using the self service checkouts in Sainsbury’s and left the store, forgetting to take a gift bag which contained items including chocolates, passport holders and toiletries.

When she returned a few minutes later the bag had been taken.

CCTV examined by police showed a woman taking the bag and leaving.

PC Jeremy Webster said: “We have undertaken checks at the lost property office but the bag hasn’t been handed in.

“We are now issuing an image of a woman who we believe may have information about the incident which will assist our enquiries. If you are the woman pictured or know her please contact us.”

The incident happened at around 5.15pm on March 3.

Anyone with information should call British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B8 of April 10.
