CCTV appeal: Police probe series of thefts from cars

Police are hunting a group of thieves thought to be behind a series of thefts in West Yorkshire.

Officers want to speak to the men pictured in this CCTV image after the theft of a sat nav from a car parked in New Pudsey railway station.

Detective Inspector Mick Dawes, of British Transport Police, said: “Three men broke into a sliver Volkswagen Golf which was parked in the station car park and stole a sat nav.

“We believe this incident may be linked to a number of similar thefts that have taken place in the Bradford area over the past few months.

“If you recognise the men pictured, or have been offered a sat nav in suspicious circumstances then please call us.”

The theft took place on Wednesday, August 24, at around 7pm.
