More than 350 festive fun runners have taken to the track at the John Charles Centre for Sport for the fourth annual Leeds Christmas 10k.

The popular event, organised by Fairplay Events, started at the Beeston facility’s track before heading up ‘Scrooge Hill’ and into Middleton Woods on Sunday.

Coun Kim Groves (Lab, Middleton Park) said: “It’s a really popular one. People from all over the city joined in and there was a really warm and welcoming atmosphere.”
