A spate of vandalism in Leeds has seen several bus shelters smashed along a major road.

Facebook users posted images of the damaged bus stops and broken glass along the York Road corridor in Killingbeck, Seacroft, Crossgates, Gipton and Rookwood.

One woman even commented that every stop from the Asda supermarket to East End Park had been targeted.

As many as seven are thought to have been vandalised.

It is not known if the incidents are linked.
