Cheese melts the hearts of hungry in Leeds

Leeds cheese lovers will brie delighted to learn that a popular cheese supper club is running again - and may literally be running as it is has a a melted cheese theme.

Homage2Fromage, created in Leeds five years ago by Nick Copland and Vickie Rogerson, is building on its success as a pop up cheese cafe with four events in Leeds before Christmas.

They will be hosted in the Mill Kitchen, Farsley on November 19 and 26 and December 16 and 17.

The evening starts with a sharing platter of cheese-inspired canapes including gruyere cheese scones and truffle macaroni cheese cupcakes and features a hero melted main course fondue dish with local sourdough and roasted vegetables. Even the dessert is cheese-based.

As well as enjoying the food, events are designed to encourage people to meet new cheese loving friends and chat over a glass of wine.

Nick said: “These nights are designed to be fun informal events for people to enjoy a complex, varied and exciting selection of cheese-inspired food.
